If I were the Mayor

    I live in Istanbul which is a beautiful city. However, if I were the mayor of Istanbul I would do different things to make it better. I would solve the most serious problems and make Istanbul more pleasing and more interesting for its citizens.

  To begin with I would encourage people to use public transport instead of their cars, especially when commuting to work. With fewer cars on the roads, there would be fewer traffic jams.

    Moreover if the chance was given to me I would demolish the slams and I would build more beautiful and more comfortable buildings. I would plant more trees and more flowers everywhere.

I would build more parks so that children could play, old people could rest and everyone could walk and do sports.

   To prevent pollution, I would move the factories out of the city. I would put more litter bins in the streets to have cleaner streets.

If I were the mayor I would do lots of things. Istanbul is a very nice city and also a really good place to live but if changes are made Istanbul will be better and more beautiful. It is still not too late and we still can do many things.
