Charities are important for people who need help. Generally healthy people don’t know what to do when they see people who have an incurable disease. Some don’t care, others see them as monsters. However, some conscientious people help the charities. I would volunteer for the LOSEV which helps children with leukemia.
We care about our silly problems while some people really need help and they are desperate about their health. We have to raise awareness. We should make people understand that it is possible to cure them or at least relieve their pain. So as humans we have to help the people in need.
I would go to hospital, play with children who have leukemia, bring them some toys, crayons etc. I would talk with them and try to understand their needs. You can be sure that these little things make the children happy, so you feel happy too.
Helping people is really important. We are not alone in this world. We live together with the disabled, the poor, the sick, so we have to learn how to share this world with them.
