Mobile phones have become very popular nowadays. In general almost everybody has got a mobile phone. People carry their phones everywhere with them. They never leave it. Mobile phones are really useful but people must use their phones carefully, because mobile phones may also cause some health problems. Although they have lots of benefits they also have drawbacks.
New mobile phones are very developed. They are not only simple phones anymore, they also include computer properties. Many people use their phones just for entertainment activities. Most teenagers use mobile phones for chatting, for listening to music or for playing games. So, they store hundreds of songs on their phones and also they can load many kinds of games. People can take pictures and movies with their phones. They can listen to the radio and also they can connect to the Internet with their phones. They can write e-mails and they can surf on the Internet by their phones.
On the other hand, people must be aware of the disadvantages. While they use these properties of their phones so intensively, they must be aware of some possible damages. Mobile phones emit radiation which might have dangerous effects on human brain. Especially, if people use their phones for a long time, this may cause some health problems. So people must be careful while using their phones. They must limit time they use it. They must also keep their phones away from their body, when they don’t use it.
To sum up, using a mobile phone has got many advantages but we must never forget the possible dangers. In my opinion, it is really useful both for communication and entertainment. However we must use it wisely. We must not use it for a long time to avoid the health risks.
