The government shold do stronger buildings. They must spend more money for building sector. They can do smaller buildings to prevent this event. They must use strong materials like concrete.
As I said before the buildings should be built tougher. The government should make a evacuation plan. Also they should give all the money citizens need. They can prepare resources. For example food, shelter and medicene.
In my opinion the goverment doesn't take care of villages they just look at towns. It's the most important thing. When earthquake comes villages easily collapse.
As I said before they have to do more solid buildings. The goverment should control the construction of bulding. The buldings should be constructed strongly aginst to earthquake. We needn't to afraid of earthquake when we build solid buildings
Some buildings are not very strong.the building should be build stronger, earthquake doesn't kill. People die because of buildings.That's why the goverment should deal with this problems.
